Supported Independent Living
Get Going Support are the experts in their field when it comes to Supported Independent Living.
We have stakeholder relationships with both real-estate agencies and SDA developers and providers to assist in an end-to-end solution for a positive outcome for your future home and supports.
If you reside in a home now and require new supports to assist you in daily living within a SIL context we can help.
If you require a home to move to we have an extensive network internally and externally to tenant match (if you have a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio) as well as finding the right house layout for your needs for a happy and positive home environment.
Get Going support pride ourselves in set stable rosters resulting in longevity for the relationships built between Staff and yourself. we have set routines and ensure every staff member is known and you'll never have someone turn up you haven't met or don't know!

Daily Living
Get Going staff can support you in and around your home!
If you are living independently, you may want a support worker to come and help with those ‘little extras’ for a few hours a day or week. We can develop a plan of support to help you whenever you need.
Our support workers are experienced in personal care, medication and meal preparation, and can provide a way of companionship and community access.
We want to walk beside you to support you in building capacity and living as independently as possible!

Community Access
As the name says, we love to support our clients to Get Going!
We can support you to create meaningful connections in your community. Our experienced support crew are great at facilitating community access and encouraging strong relationships and ensuring you truly have the opportunity to life with independence and reach your goals.
We can support you however you like, watching your favourite sports team, doing your shopping, actively getting involved in volunteering or just checking out the local events!

Psychosocial Disability Support
A psychosocial disability arises when someone with a mental health condition interacts with a social environment that presents barriers to their equality with others.
Psychosocial disability may restrict a person's ability to be in certain types of environments, concentrate or have enough stamina to complete tasks.
Our dedicated department focus on supporting participants in this space by creating individualised support teams for participants with a mental health diagnosis.
We proudly deliver tailored support for every participant underpinned by choice and control throughout.
Our participants receive 24-7 support, SIL, SDA accommodation support, MTA support, community access and in home self-care supports.
Throughout Queensland, Ipswich, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
